Nero Burning ROM, Nero Express, NeroVision Express, Recode, InCD, etc..

nero check

Probably a dumb question here, but.

I installed Nero 7 version 7.0.1.4 and now notice 'nero check' in startup when I run msconfig/start. What exactly is that?

I installed just the basics as my recording needs are modest. Should I update to the latest version and if I do, should I completely uninstall the current version?

I'm really thinking that the OEM suite version 6.6 is probably all I need. I do prefer the recording ROM rather than express though. Stupid me fell into the 'update version' trap.

Any info will be appreciated.
