When is Nero going to support Vista?

Postby Howard Kaikow on Wed Dec 06, 2006 6:08 pm

Today, received the retail box for Nero 7 Ultra Edition enhanced.

Sticker on box says "Windows Vista Certified coming in January 2007", yet version 7.5.0.9A, downloadable now, claims Vista support.

When will/has Nero officially supported Vista?

It does now. Early on, Nero claimed that they would support Vista by the time it shipped in 2007. The box was probably printed then.

Thanx.

Of course, downloading 7.5.0.9A still might have been a waste of time, as there could be yet another update by the time I have a Vista system.

Craig (Nero Rep) has said in this forum that Nero 7 with VISTA compatibility become available by the end of Jan 07.

Nero 7.5.0.9A is 'Vista Ready', but Nero is not yet 'Certified'.

This of course means that there will still be some issues when working with VISTA. We are constantly finding and resolveing new bugs.

We hope to have a Solid Vista build in 2007, hopefully no later than March 2007.

Is this compatibility is for VISTA 32 or 64 bit also?. Becase any 32 bit program ahs no interface problem with VISTA 32 bit the qestion is whether Nero 7590A is compatibiable with VISTA 32 bit.
