Nero 7.5.9.0a Tries to Install DirectX 9.0c on Vista RTM?

Should I let it? Vista already comes with DirectX10. Anyway to bypass this?

DirectX is backwards compatible,meaning once you install 10 it will always have 10*.
So yes let it try to install 9.0c.

*unless of course you delete all DX10 files.

I have found that when a program wants to install directx files, and finds the same or newer on the system, it justs skips over them, so it shouldn't hurt to let it do it's thing.

Same problem in Windows 2000, where 9.0c is already installed.

Better be careful the Nero & latest version is not yet VISTA compatable (64 bit) unless you are using VISTA 32 bit which even that is not %100 trouble free.
