I just bought a WD Caviar SE16 250GB SATA300 7200RPM 16MB Buffer for $69.70 USD shipped to Florida.

Not smoking hot, but buy.com has a deal running now with Google's Checkout, $20 off an order of $50 or more and free shipping.

Not a bad deal at all.

$20 is $20 (which is $23 CDN).

I'll pick it up in January when I'm on vacation.

Over all I saved $33 CDN because of Buy.com & Google's checkout system.

Yea Slim, it's right next to Kokomo, Isla Morada (Florida Keys).

Hey Spaz, are you going to the Keys? If you are, then make a stop at the Tiki Bar. Then drive a mile or two south to Woody's. They have a great band called"Big Dick and the Extenders" (don't know if they are still there, though).

No trip to the Keys this year. Probably in 2008.

I've been to Margaritaville in Key West & Orlando so far.

I love the drive down the A1 from Homestead to KW. Especially near Marathon where the ocean goes from blue to green in a matter of 5 miles.

This year its just golf & fishing with my 68 year old father & 63 year old mother. No wife or kids this time! Let the alcohol flow.

For $117 (return incl. on Spirit) from Detroit to Orlando, how could I not go this year?

ruderacer: is that in Islemaralda or furthur South ?

Spaz,

Isla Morada, it's south of Key Largo. Real nice place. That's where Kokomo and the Tiki Bar are located. They have live bands and a great Bar. Actually two. One by Kokomo, which is a small area on the grounds and the other is by the stage, where bands play. They also have a small beach area and plenty of beautiful women!!!! I'm from Miami originally and use to go to the Keys every chance I had. The place takes you to a different time. Its like going back decades. Oh, the fishing is great too! Now I'm stuck in south Texas by the border, work brings me here, but long for the sunny days of south Florida and the get-aways to the keys. Hope you enjoy your trip.

I finally figured out how to re-size pictures here @ work.

Here's one I took last spring when I was there:

With this,
e6400 Core 2 Duo @ 2.13ghz,
it would probably take 2.37 nano seconds.

Problem is, I'm at work.

P4 2.40ghz. 512mb ram.
Win2K Pro. Locked down tight! We can not install any software at all, not even browser helpers. Let alone flash/java etc.

So resizing the pictures was a challenge. But I'm a civil servant and I have the time right now.
