I compiled the votes from the monthly DVD Polls from 2006 and made a couple of charts with excel. Here are the results.

So BenQ and Pioneer truly dominated this year it seems. It should be interesting to see what happens next year as both BenQ and Pioneer remove themselves from the DVD burner market. I think you'll have to add some BluRay burners to your list soon Ian :wink:

That will probably be a separate poll, at least for the next year or so. I really don't see Blu-ray or HD burners becoming commonplace or replacing DVD writers until they drop below $150.

Well, BluRay should hit about $200-$250 USD for a burner by the end of 2007 I think (based on Sharp's supply of needed componants). I expect we'll see things heat up in this format war quite quickly in 2007 :D
