dvr recording

Postby schuyler1 on Fri Jan 26, 2007 10:39 pm

Hi everyone, I just learned that I cant record multiple tv channels with my wintv-pvr-usb2 which will only scan channel 3 which is what the tv is on to receive dish network. You have to change channels manualy within dish. What use is that. The purpose of a recorder is to record diff channels at diff times when your not there.

1.)I have dish network with 100 hours of programing, is there anyway a larger HD can be added to the dish stuff?

2.)With the dvrs w/HD that are out there, is there any way that the recorder will see the dish schedule?

I just want something that I can record diff channels at diff times to a HD that I can set and not baby sit and get the channels that are on dish network. Any ideas

Depending on what receiver you have, you may be able to add a different HD or at least extract your video from your current one to save to DVD.

I suggest joining these Yahoo Groups for lots of info and tools...

Read everything very carefully and you will learn a lot.
