Do modern laptops come with drivers for Windows XP?

I have to buy a new laptop and have thought it could be the Asus F3JP-AP076C (Centrino T7200 2 Ghz 4MB L2, 2GB RAM 667 Mhz, ATI X1700). This computer, like many other modern ones, comes with Windows Vista, but I want to use Windows XP.

Can anybody tell me if it includes also drivers for Windows XP?.

A similar question actually came up at work. Some guy bought an HP laptop and HP was not providing drivers for anything other than Vista. XP drivers were available, but we had to go directly to the hardware manufacturers.

In ASUS's case, it does appear that they are providing drivers for XP on their website (search for F3Jp):
