New Temps

Postby hoxlund on Fri Mar 09, 2007 11:38 pm

I've got some new temps for ya'll

so far this is stock clocked, unfortunately i can't share with anyone what the stock clock is of my current processor

all i can say is that the processor in my sig and the processor im currently using are different as you can tell from the temp reading from all 4 cores

the reading from the actual top of the main core is 27C, read from my front bay LCD from my monsoon vigor heatsink

Are you doing some type of pre-release beta testing or something that requires an NDA?

haha right on, ++edited by lance, sorry this is to much info++

here is what it says:

"HKEPC reports that Intel will be releasing a QX6800 - extreme edition 2.93GHz 1066MHz bus quad core processor.

The QX6800 will apparently be launched when the new 1333FSB Core 2 Duo's are launched, and will cost $999 - presumably this means that the QX6700's price will drop.

As before, it will have two dual core die's in the package, each with 4MB of L2 cache."

_Awesome_ The power of those systems are amazing.

My next PC system will have a dual core proc at the minimum.
Quad core would be even better of course! 8)
