That's about all I have to say on seeing the current USPS promotion when dropping in to print out a shipping label.

I think its pretty awesome. Supposedly they're going to have Star Wars stamps in May.

I ran across one of those R2D2 mailboxes last week. Believe it or not, it was only a couple of blocks from work. I snapped a few pictures of course.

These aren't the mailboxes you're looking for.

He can go about his business.

Move along now.

There is one of these on my way home from work. You can see where someone tried to peel the label off and totally messed up the top of it (it just tore, didn't peel off nicely). Which is probably a good thing, after a while people will stop messing with them, or just steal them entirely. ;) (oh, I wonder how long you'd rot in a federal prison for messing with a mailbox?)

Funny, I was already wondering how long before Ian gets busted for stealing the R2D3 mailboxes in his neighborhood :P

Very clever on the US Postal Service's behalf. They are masking a 2 cent hike in the price of a stamp with a Star Wars advertising campaign. If you look closely at the "coming soon" Star Wars stamps, you will see they are marked as being 41 cents, as opposed to the current cost of a stamp, 39 cents. Didn't the USPS just raise the price to 39 cents a few months ago?

They're going to make a bundle off these stamps as most Star Wars fans are going to buy a ton of them and never use them.

I've seen a few of these in Phoenix. Pretty cool.

Too bad about the stamp price increase, I still have these 39c stamps here. Guess I need to buy some 2 centers. #-o
