I saw 300 over the weekend. It was better than I expected.

After you have kids, you're lucky to go once a year... About the only ones we make it to are kid movies anymore... Saw Night at the Museum last... But dammit, I'm gonna catch Spidey 3 and Fantastic 4 Silver Surfer this May/June if it kills me!

Most of my stuff is on DVD... we buy it and wait for the kids to go to bed... but usually we're too tired and go to bed too!!! Those little rug rats have no much energy they wear out us older folks!

There are far too many movies I want to see coming out this year, so I'm going to give 300 the pass. I might pick it up on Blu-Ray though. So far this year I've seen 5 movies in theatre and it's only April 3rd, and I have at least 2 movies to see this month (Hot Fuzz and Grindhouse). With Pirates, Spiderman, Harry Potter, and possibly transformers in the not too distant future.... yikes!

Anyone else catch South Park last night? They had an awesome spoof on 300. Instead of the Spartans it was the Lesbos versus the Persians. The best part was where they dressed up Mexicans as Persians.

South Park rocks. I'll have to see 300 first and THEN see the SP spoofisode on it.
