Anyone else buy Transformers on DVD or HD DVD?

Postby Ian on Tue Oct 16, 2007 1:39 pm

Anyone else pick up Transformers today? I stopped at Best Buy and got their exclusive pack with the two little Robot Heroes toys. I also picked up the Ratchet with metallic paint.

My wife picked up the DVD for me today when she was out running errands. May watch it tonight.

The audio on the DVD is awesome.. especially if you have a subwoofer.

Nope... although I *DID* stop into Bestbuy today and I took a look at various DVD and HD DVD options.

I'll stick with the original still.

I went to Future Shop yesterday and bought one of their exclusive steelbooks - one had the Autobots Protect cover and the other one had the Decepticons Destory cover. I bought the Autobot one. I also bought the Future Shop steelbook exclusive for Grindhouse: Planet Terror (I never bought Grindhouse:Deathproof as I believe that's one of the worst movies ever made).

I'll probably pick up the Transformers DVD or HD DVD at some point. Haven't gotten to it yet though.

I saw GrindHouse in the theater and while I enjoyed both movies, Planet Terror was definitely the better film. Most people seem to agree that Planet Terror is better. DeathProof was "okay" in my opinion... A bit slow at some points, but quite entertaining during others.
