The results aren't so great with the RITEK-R05 and CMC MAG-M01 DVD+R media, but I like what I'm seeing with the DVD-R discs.. especially RITEK F16.

RITEK F16 is +R and I tested it

Maybe u think of RitekF1?

BTW, I think the CMC MAG-M01 is good in PIF, but crazy PIE

My Sony16D1 failed, it needs 2,5 Min for Leadin and it wasnt completely readable

I think I do some tests at next weekend

Oops.. my bad. I'm surprised by those results with the Sony discs. Given, I don't have a GH-20N (yet) but they've worked very well with other LG drives.

Ian, any ideas which media I should make a test? I don´t have so much different media, but maybe I can get some for testing, but maybe only SL-media

2nd try with MCC 03RG20, now at 16x

The end of the media looks much better than the 20x-burn. But I´m confused about the PIF-cluster at 2GB. I made 2 scans, but forgot to save the 1st one, but I´m sure I don´t had this big cluster at 2GB

Maybe very fast degrading of the media :-?
