High-Def Movie Sales For week Ending 2/3/08

HD DVD gained some more ground for the week ending February 3rd. According to Home Media Magazine HD DVD took 26% of the week's sales. Sorry Blu-ray fans.. your format is only outselling HD DVD by 3 to 1 now. :wink:

The HD DVD versions of Transformers and The Bourne Supremacy also popped into the top ten. I guess people needed something to play on their cheap HD DVD players.

My personal spending was 4 to 2 in BD's favor.
Sure are some old titles on that top 10 list.

They were on sale :wink:
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

I was complaining about the slow release volumes on both formats :D
