this is getting stupid...does anyone know where i can download nero 6 and 7 other than
at the nero website??that might be the problem.thanks.

The Nero website is still the best place to download updates. If you're concerned about them being corrupted, the MD5 checksums are listed on their website.

They're used to verify the integrity of files.

Use one of the following tools
http://www.mget.nl/download.html
on your downloaded file. This should give you a MD5 checksum, which should be the same as the one on the NERO site.
