My USB Flash Drive Went Through The Wash..

And it actually survived! I let it dry out for a few days and plugged it in this morning. It worked perfectly. Good job Kingston, your DataTraveler 100's are cheap as hell, but can handle a washing.

Is this your recommended way of cleaning dirty files from a USB Flash Drive? :D

I still have a 1GB LG flash drive that has gone through the wash at least 3 times and still lives... And the cool blue LED still works as well!!! Got a few of those cheap Kingstons as well... glad to hear they may survive my pockets too!

My wife washed an el cheapo 250 MiB drive a couple of years ago. It still works too, although it suffered a bit mechanically. I don't use it any more because it's too small...
