Firmware for LG GDA-4164L

Hola, im looking for firmware dvd writer LG GDA-4164L
I know that exist a last version "SL40" but official lg web doesnt mantain the links, anyone can help? Thanks

Hi mac555,

LG has been really bad at providing firmware updates as of late. Your best bet would be to track down their auto firmware update utility and see if it can grab the SL40 firmware.

thanks for you reply but where i can download "auto firmware update utility"?

anyway I have not much hope in that utility, because LG GDA-4164L is part of a domestic recorder (LG RH188H), not a PC "typical" recorder, OEM as GSA... or GWA...

It usually comes on the software CD. I'll see if I can dig up a copy.

I've uploaded the latest version of the installer that I have. The first time you run it, it will go out and update itself.
