Questions about burned 50GB quality

Postby hoxlund on Sat Nov 30, 2013 9:45 pm

So I have a few burned movies on 50GB bd-r discs and noticed a couple are now garbage. Like they don't play back anymore. I know awesome right, they weren't exactly cheap. I think I spent around $10 a disc on them at the time.

Question is, is there a program that can read back the disc like cd-dvd speed scandisc feature that will work with burned bluray discs.

I've got about 20 of these burned with straight 1:1 bluray movies and want to check my other discs to make sure there ok.

The media id for these are TDKBLDRFB

There maxell bd-r dl inkjet printable

nvm im a dumbass, didn't have the correct drive selected in the dropdown.

But I have another question. does the scandisc catch errors in the burn to where it would cause problems in the playback?

What drive are you using to read them back?

Aren't those going to be the same media ID (TDKBLDRFB)? Then again, Maxell quality has not always been the best.
