BenQ DW1655 finally is starting to die

Yep, it's happening now. First sign, Audiograbber has trouble ripping from CDs. EAC burned Wavs which I then converted to MP3s and they sounded all scratchy and distorted. I have to use my Asus or Pioneer drives for this now. CDs played fine in my stereo and other drives. I guess it was going to happen eventually. :(

Try popping it open and clean the lens. They get cloudy with stuff over time even if you don't smoke.

Maybe it has some capacitors that have gone high ESR.
