burning *nix distro in windows problem

Postby Hehaub on Thu Jan 01, 1970 2:00 am

I am trying to burn a copy of FreeBSD in windows98. The problem is that it(as alot of *nix distro's do) has files in the same directory that windows sees as the same(ie CC and cc). I dont have an ISO, only the CD. I dont have access to another OS at the moment(no drive I can put FreeBSD on). I wondered if there is a program out there that will 1)make an ISO without this limitation 2) compile and write a CD without this limitation.

TIA

cdrtools includes readcd program, that might be able to do the job. At least on unicen
that works fine, don't know how well the Windows versions work.

Btw, FreeBSD FTP-sites should have ISO-images readily available.
