Not to sure how this is a hot deal message... but...

If you put in the following line in google:

+"cd duplication" +philippines

or:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%2B%22cd+duplication%22+%2Bphilippines&btnG=Google+Search

Yes, but none of the places I know of are based in the Philippines so you'd pay an arm and a leg to get 50,000 blank Sony discs shipped to the Islands.

Best I could find was 400pack for 140. That equates too approx. 35cents per disc. For 50,000pcs it will cost about $17,500 for Sony.

Cheapest I could find in that QTY was some Rytec/Arita 80mins 400pack for 72. Thats about .18cents per disc. Or $9000 for 50,000qty.

I'm sure there are better deals. This should give you an idea though of what this particular avenue will cost. Keep in mind shipping is not even figured in here. Since your in the Philippines 'it will cost ya'.

As someone else stated, this isn't really a hot deals topic but...

You might try directories like these:

http://dir.tpage.com/17/25/
http://www.exporterclub.com/search.asp
http://www.importlead.com/

Note that I have absolutely no experience with importing/exporting or with these particular directories. You will have to exercise due diligence to protect yourself. But, these sites and others like them may give you some contacts to explore.

I have been to Taipei several times since I'm a kid. Don't know where to find, I mean the right contacts to provide me quality CD-Rs.

Obvious. There are a few famous and large computer markets in Taipei. There are Ritek, Prodisc, CMC Magnetics, InfoDisc, Princo, GigaStorage, and many others there. A small box contains 500 or more bulk CD-R discs shrink-wrapped so importing 50,000 discs should not be difficult. I have talked to several CD-R importers based in Seoul since late 1990s. They usually get the media from factories in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. I'm not sure whether you can read and speak Chinese. It'll be much easier if you can.

By the way, why not import 50,000 DVD-R media instead of 50,000 CD-R? A lot more profits.
