How much HDD Space I need to capture about 1/2 hour of video ?

Depends on the quality/compression and frame rate that you specify in your capture program.

I capture with the following settings:

MPEG-1
Video: 320x240, 1.6Mb/s
Audio: 44.100KHz, 16 Bit, Stereo

30 minutes of capturing at these settings takes up about 300MB of hard disk space.
