I am wondering why there is no instant chat section at CDRlabs. I think it will be a great idea but as I am typing this, I can think of the disadvantages too.
-The big one is that people would always use chat and forums would become less popular.
-Some admin constantly needed to monitor the behaviour of the members (although all are decent and polite, but occasionally some one does pop up)
Can't think of any others. I think the chat will be a great place for suggestions. People who ask for recommendations of drives they should buy could get their questions answered quickly.
I can think of both pros and cons. What do you guys think about this suggestion? Would it be a hit if implemented or a flop?
