CC has cendyne 48x for $90 - $30mir - $20mir =$40, today is the last day for that deal. Thats' $90 at checkout.
Starting sunday OfficeMax also has the same drive for $90 - $30 mir but they also have INSTANT rebate of $30, so at checkout you pay $60.
CC has a 110% price match, so maybe they will match the OM instant rebate. If it goes well the drive might be just $7-$10.

Is the CenDyne 48x12x48x a liteon cd-rw drive 100% for sure?

NO its not.
I went cc and one had a liteon model number LTR 48125W, others had 48x12x50. They did not let me have the liteon. At office max all cendyne 48x wore also 48x12x50, I think its aopen not for sure.
But I went to bestbuy today to get the buslink 48x12x48x, and i got LTR 48246S. Just the drive I was looing for, it comes in a 48x12x box.
