AOPEN ADDS BRIGHT & COLORFUL TOUCH
TO QF50 MID-TOWER PC HOUSING LINE

Stylish Design & High-Quality Construction
Produce Balanced Blend of Form and Function at Reasonable Price

SAN JOSE, CA USA, December 9, 2002 – Adding to a number of recent entries in its PC housing product line, AOpen Inc. today announced the introduction of a brand-new look for some of its mid-tower housings in the increasingly popular QF50 series. The QF50C model housing now features a choice of exotic color accents available on the front bezels that are sure to brighten the décor of any SMB, SoHo or home environment.

According to J.C. Chang, Director of AOpen’s Housing Division, “We saw the growing trend by users to add extra visual touches to their PCs, so we thought they’d like to get a head-start with housings featuring various color-accented front panel options.” Chang stated that “The new QF50C color models in the series, with matching keyboard and mouse devices, feature exotic color accents like metallic blue and red – definitely not your ordinary looking PCs. They’re designed for customers that want something different. And of course, they feature AOpen’s hallmark of quality and performance at a reasonable price.”

As is the case with all the other models in the P4-ready QF50 series, the ATX/microATX/flexATX mid-tower QF50C housings feature high expansion capacity with seven slots and seven drive bays; bent-in edges for safe assembly and handling; a smart slide-in back bracket and support for a 300/250W (ATX) safety power supply. To add to their versatility, the QF50C housings also feature front panel access to USB and audio connections and an optional second fan for additional cooling. New with the announcement of the QF50C is a new see-through side window panel accessory that allows viewing of the motherboard and add-on cards inside to add to the visual excitement of the housing when on display.

The QF50C has an MSRP of $59.99, features a 3-year product warranty and is now shipping in North America. More information about the QF50C can be found at: http://www.aopen.com/products/housing/qf50-series.htm
