That is one man that actually understands women. Thank god I'm married...

LOL. Good article.

I've been in the "friend zone" so many times, I lost count. :)

I'm glad to hear you are fine. I was a little worried.

I still don't completely understand, because the antecedent is unclear. You are saying you don't want a nice guy? Or you don't want a friend? Or you don't want a nice girl? Do you care to elaborate?

How can you not want a companion in your life? Sure, relationships do have their highs and lows. But don't you want someone to live your life with and to feel loved by?

Everyone has their own opinion's about the future, but this comment is just sad. :(

You aren't. I have a very close friend who has made a conscious decision that she doesn't want to live with a man, get married, have children, etc. She is quite happy with her life. Everyone is entitled to choose the lifestyle that suits best.

I too have a friend that doesn't want the whole companionship shebang. She's very attractive, but made a habit of going out with jerks. She just got to the point where she was more comfortable with life without the relationship drama. I guess her career keeps her busy enough to where it's like a companion. I dunno. *shrug*

I agree, it sounds sad. At the same time, it's different when it's a persons conscious choice.

Heya imtim83...

As a matter of fact, yes I do. Hell, for about 3 months, I had him thinking that he might be gay (I know he's not gay.). But seriously, yes I do. He's straight as can be...about 36...very cool friend...good guy...polite to the ladies...very giving. I know for a fact that he's never had a bit of nookie, let alone kissed a woman. He has his moments of wanting to find someone and get married, but from what I've noticed, those are short lived moments.

I actually know several guys (straight as an arrow) that fall into the same category. Several years ago, my friends would have pegged me for the same...never thinking I was gonna get married...keep going out with different women...no attachments. So ya see, imtim83? You're not the only one. Could just be a case of it hitting you when you least expect it.

I'm not into judging guys or anything, be he doesn't exactly belong on the FUGLY site. My female friends think he's "okay". He's just very content with life, I suppose. He's got a job that pays the bills with some leftovers for the piggy bank.

At the same time, relationships can be a lot of work that sometimes involves a lot of poo. Marriage is no easier, although I must say...my wife is kickass.

F1Pilot well i knew i wasn't the only one all the time. I bet there could be at least a good 1 million people + that never been on a date, or wanted to get married, etc.

quite a story (referring to post #1)

Somehow i still don't want it to be the truth.

Maybe i should quit being nice then if it's effortless.
Then again , who would i be kidding ?
Information is neutral. It is only evil or disgusting to clueless twists that don't know how to use it to their advantage.

Opinion used as evidence is not enough to refute fact. Sometimes it's just FUD.
