Looks like a Pioneer to me...

Read it before. Can't find any difference. Must be another Pioneer DVR-A05 OEM. (Is there any 4x DVD-R writer that is not based on Pioneer drives that cannot write to +R/+RW?)

I tried to look what store sells them but couldn't locate one yet. Most Pioneer DVR-A05 OEM drives cost a little over 27,000 Yen, or about 210 USD. In South Korea, still 480,000 Won, or about 400 USD. Therefore, of course, I will buy from stores in Tokyo with the help of friends. 4x DVD+R drives (ND-1100A OEM) are cheaper than Pioneer DVR-A05, now around 200 USD. Hm... the big problem in the Plus format is the media cost. Pioneer 4x DVD-R media (5,000 Won) are cheaper than Ritek 2.4x DVD+R media (6,000 Won) in Seoul.

Hm... It says 231.132 USD.

I always wish we had just one world currency.

1 USD = 120 Japanese Yen = 1,200 South Korean Won = 1.56 Canadian Dollar = 1.77 Australian Dollar = 0.977 Euro
