does anyone know who makes Teac CD-R's?
they are pretty good.

CD-R discs are made by Mitsui Chemicals.

it depends what speed they are rated as. i have some 48x teac that came in a blue box and they are made by CMC :evil: i think the 24x teac and below might be mitsui. :)

Well, that's rather unpleasant. 24x and below were Mitsui's for sure.

i use the Teac 48X too, in the blue cover and they run at max speed on my new liteon :)
Aren't CMC CD-R's not that good on liteon's?

Some CMC's are not that good in Lite-On drives, especially the 40X, 48X, and 52X Lite-On burners. Careful which CMC discs you use with either of these drives. To find out more information about successful and unsuccessful results with CMC discs, look at this thread and scroll down to the Lite-On drives.
