Songs Titles On Cd

Postby dafuzzbudd on Fri Jan 24, 2003 6:49 pm

I use to use easy cd creator 4 and after i was done making a cd i could later, at any time, pop the cd in my cd drive and within the label creator, go to add>cd data and the track names and times would all pop up.

But i recently got easy cd creator 5 and i cant do that. It knows the track times but no track names. I looked through all the options for a checkbox that maybe would say "Save cd data to cd" or something of that form but no luck. I seem to rememeber something like that with verison 4.

Could someone please help me?

When you burn the CD, try making a CD Text disc rather than a plain Audio CD disc. Assuming you are using the same burner/reader as before and both are capable of reading CD Text, that will allow you to burn the title information onto the disc as well.

(I am guessing from what you describe that your label printing software is reading CD Text title information from your old discs burned under version 4.)

This is sort of old, so it might not be exactly applicable anymore, but it is worth a look as well:

I guess its called CD Label Creator now, but the instructions look to be pretty much the same as for version 4's Jewel Case Creator:

Actually, my gut feeling tells me dafuzzbudd solved it himself and I just happened to post some links to be read after the fact. But that's okay too. There is nothing wrong with working one's own problem while waiting for input from others on the forum. In fact, I encourage it, and appreciate it when people who solve their own problem post the answer they found so that others might benefit as well.
