Teac CDW552 features "Digital Audio Output". What

What does that mean??
Is it one of thoes technologies where audio burning has an extra quality to it? Like Plextor and Yamaha did?

No, it just means the audio data is transferred in digital form, without conversion, to the sound card rather than converted to analog by a converter inside the drive itself. I don't know of any modern drive that doesn't have this feature. Read through these threads (all the way through) for more information:
