Thats a good deal. I see on the specs for that hard drive it says:
Drive Capacity 100.0GB + 20.0GB free = 120.0GB maximum capacity

Its a 120 gig hd so why do they say that you get 20 free when its suppose to be 120gigs to begin with? Do they do that to make it seem like a better deal or what?

Yup. It's a marketing gimmick.

More deals from the inside pages (click photos for bigger versions):

100-pack Imation 48x 80-minute CD-R: $9.99 after MIRs
(these are made by CMC)
Image

Norcent 52x24x52 internal IDE CD-RW drive: $24.99 after MIRs
(there is a reasonably good chance this is a Benq)
Image

Digital Research 52x24x52 USB 2.0 external CD-RW drive: $79.99 after MIRs
Image

Western Digital 60 GByte 7200 RPM internal ATA/100 drive: $59.99 after MIRs
(This is just the regular 2 MiByte cache drive - not the special edition drive. It looks like this may be closeout item as well, so check your local store for availability. Anyway, the Maxtor in BuddhaTB's original post is a better deal.)

Hmmm... not sure the links to bigger photos are worth the trouble.

Best Buy's pics are big enough, so not really necessary to post a link to a bigger version like you said.

Thanks cfitz. Looks like tonight will be more of a relaxing evening for me.

Everyone deserves some time off sometime. :) And feel free to track down the CompUSA specials. I don't have a circular, and can't find the online version this week.

Thanks guys, great work!! ^

I believe CompUSA's circulars are every other week. Since they had it last week, I don't believe we'll see a circular this week.

That's what I was thinking too, but the last CompUSA deal post here said it expired 3/8, and I didn't want to inadvertently let some deals slip through the cracks since I took it upon myself to give BuddhaTB a break this week. If you're going to do a job, do it right and all...
