Upgrade Nero OEM

Postby liteoncrasher on Mon Mar 31, 2003 10:50 pm

When I purchased my Lite-On LTR-48125W I received Nero with it. I finally installed it and also upgraded it to v5.5.10.15 but the "version box" still lists my software as "Bundled." Does this mean I do not have a real FULL version? I've looked all over :o ahead's site but can't find the info. If this is not the FULL version, what am I missing, and how much will it cost to make it FULL?

I searched this forum and ahead's website to no avail. If I missed  something, please post a link (or links).

Thanks

Hi Bud

As far as i know the only diff between the bundled 1 is the limited mp3 encoding & the fact it will only work on the burner it bought with

Mines is bundled 2, but it seem 2 be full version

Here are the differences between the various OEM versions and the full retail version:

Here is where to order the upgrade to the full version:

https://secure.nero.com/en/Wizard.asp?Item=230

(from the "Nero v5.5 Upgrade Serial Number (from v4.0)" link on the page https://secure.nero.com/en/Secure.asp - yes, it says from v4.0, but it is the right link even if you have a bundled version of v5.5)
