is this the same as Plextor Manager 2000?, just the euro version?.

NO.
it is a completely different program.
and MUCH better! :P

the only thing in common between the two is:
European Plextor drives come bundled with PlexTools.
American Plextor drives come bundled with Plextor Manager 2000.

oh yeah, PlexTools runs on WinXP, Plextor Manager does not!

Anyone with a Plextor introducing us with the new oh-so-talked about features such as C1 and C2 error scans?

i don't think these features are introduced in this version of PlexTools.
haven't installed the update yet, when i will i'll report back.

it's not clear yet whether these features will be available on all Plextor drives, or only on the new 52/32/52 one (that is not yet released).
