Have you guys noticed the new boxed Buslink drives?!? The ones at the CC I last went to, only said Buffer Underun protection...but didnt say justlink or smart-burn.

Heh...maybe it was so people would stop singling out the justlink drives. too bad, ppl will just buy/open see if its what they want...if not...return!

Yes, I noticed the "Buffer Underrun protection" boxes @ Best Buy last week. Does anyone have any idea just WHAT kind of drives are in those boxes??

If you don't want to dick around with rebates, Best Buy supposedly has the Buslink on sale for $29.99. No rebates.

More info here.

No BUSlink 52x24x52 CD-RW drives at my Best Buy. Must have been a clearance sale. However, the odd thing is that there were about 15 BUSlink 48x24x48 CD-RW drives in stock and at regular price too. I thought Best Buy would have had a clearance sale on those instead of the 52x BUSlink drive.
