pity they couldn't test it with PlexTools Professional yet, it would have been really interesting to see how it works out :)

More like a preview. Without PlexTools Professional and 32x RW media you can't test half of the drive's features.

It's a preview since they also used an unfinalized firmware version (0.DF). The drive seems to have good performance though..

that's ann unusual version number for a Plextor firmware :o

I wish they would have compared jitter and C1/C2 error rates in their burning media section, instead of just how long it takes to burn different CD-Rs....
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R
