a good guide

Postby majbach on Tue Apr 29, 2003 10:00 am

I'm looking for a site(s) that cover in good detail all aspects of writing to CD's an CD-RWs. Including definitions of packet writing vs. session writing, CD-Rs vs. CD_RWs, writing software characterisitics and differences, Mt Rainer vs. non-Mt.Rainer, etc. Just about anything in general about burning.
Not that I'm to lazy to look for it myself or anything. It's just that where I live my connection is soooo slow and I cant get hi-speed so sifting through a multitude of searches would take me forever.
Thanks in advance.

This guide linked by BuddhaTB in the FAQ section is pretty good:

http://www.pctechguide.com/09cdr-rw.htm

And don't forget the CD-R FAQ (also linked in our FAQ section):

The two links provided by cfitz are very good. If you want to do lots of reading another good site is http://mrichter.com/cdr/primer/primer.htm.
