Sony DRU500A coaster maker! for CD-R

anyone else having this problem? I am making more coasters then i have soft drinks recently :-/

What kind of media and what app you using?

I used some ancient 12x TDK usa certified + media with mine and did a test burn that came out about as good as my 52x Liteon with TY media.
I don't normally use it much for cdr burning but it has worked fine so far.
I've been using Nero with it and it works fine. Possibly your having a conflict with other burning programs ?
