Nero Reading DRU-510A as 2.4X Maximum Speed??

I have a Sony DRU-510A installed, but Nero is reading the drive as 2.4X max speed. Am I reading this correctly?

What kind fo media is in the drive?

have you tried it with any of the other dvd recording programs? and JerMe might be right about the media. maybe Nero is saying 2.4X cause you placed 2.4x media in the drive.

Yep, my bad. There was 2.4X media in the drive (previously, though I took it out, closed/opened Nero, and tried the drive info again). The drive never saw 4X media, so Nero reported it as a 2.4X drive.

I went out and bough 4X media, popped it in, and now Nero ix reporting the drive as 4X max speed. Thanks!
