Pioneer A05 Problem's wotn detect anything

Lo all i just got my new retail a05 and it wont detect anything in nero even the dvd-r's that came with it please help me out here

And when im in nero it says please wait while checks for medium it takes about 45 sec it clicks around doesnt really spin up and it wont burn Cd's either gets a power error with that and when i put a blank dvd in it takes about 2 min for it to stop tryin to spin up

Have you tried more than 1 brand of disc?

ah yes i bought some disc's with it and i tryed the pioneer -r and -rw ones with it also both just spin and then nothing
i got the 1.30 firmware acording to the pioneer tool

BY the way i cant get it to detect any cd/dvd in the drive at all

I think that the drive is bad. If you could exchange it for a new one, I'd advise that you give that a try.
