I can only sometimes burn it just sits there and tries to start burning it make the spinning CD sound and then stops and to stop it I have to restart the computer... lol as you can tell Im not really computer literate.

Welcome to CDRLabs, grazza!

BTW, what don't you understand about this site, and why is it weird? :-?

Anyhow, a few more details about your system would help us to diagnose your problem accurately. Information such as what burning software you are using, what version of the burning software you have, and details about your computer's hardware would be helpful.

This whole site is filled with people who simply have to much time to talk about CD Burners.

funny that, in the recordable media industry there are two main things to talk about, the burners and the media...
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

Grazza, you say that it "sometimes" does this. I'll assume that the other times the burner functions normaly. Your media is the most likely culpret, especially if you are using CDRW discs and/or InCD.
