Anyone know a Pioneer DVD-ROM that rips as fast as DVR-105?

How fast is too fast?

My DVR-105 rips a movie DVD in about 15 minutes with DVD Decrypter (w/ a firmware hack).
I bought a Teac DV-516E, which is supposed to really be a Pioneer (a 500M, I think), but it takes twice as long to do the job.
Does anyone know a Pioneer DVD-ROM model that reads/rips DVDs like the 105 does?
And which Pioneer model is the Teac supposed to be (someone said the 500M, someone said the 117...)?
