Lite-On Combo Drive (LTC-48161H)?

Has anyone actually ever seen/used this drive?

I'm curious because it now seems to be available overhere and for less than the Samsung/LG combo's.

Wonder how fast it can rip movie-DVD's. That still is the weak spot where these comdo drives are concerned. :cry:

Yes people own it. I just haven't seen any good reviews of it yet. From what I've heard it's just like a LTR-48246S and a LTD-166S were combined.

Sounds good. Can anyone confirm it's '166s-like' performance? This might be the one for me if it rips as good as the -166.

Thanks, I found that thread as well right after posting here. Still, it remains to be seen if the combo drive can read subchannel data. Would be unlike Lite-On if it couldn't.
