Fuji DVD-R's

Postby fng on Thu Jul 03, 2003 1:35 pm

That seems like a decent deal on the fuji dvd-r's, for those that don't want to buy a 50 or 100 pack. Anyone know who makes these (i've seen ricoh on some fuji's)?

The hard drive is made by Maxtor. Here is CompUSA's information on it.

I think I'll pick up one (and the Fuji blank DVD+R and DVD-R media) tomorrow. :)
My solution to the Plextor vs. Lite-On debate: Buy 'em both! :)

I believe that the Fuji DVD-Rs are just like the CD-Rs and made by TY. Just look for the 'Made in Japan' label. Does anyone know if these blanks are 4x or 2x? If they are 4x, then this is smoking for a B&M deal! The best deal that I've seen on 4x Riteks via mail order is $1.35 each in quantities of 100 or more. TY 4x DVD-Rs for $1.60sh each picked up locally would have me out tomorrow :D

Anybody have an idea if we are looking at 2x or 4x blanks?
