TDK 440N or Pioneer A06?

Postby shah on Thu Jul 10, 2003 8:25 am

Hi,

I need help deciding which one to buy. I've quite a bunch of 4x dvd-r(ritek and princo) that my sony dru500a simply refuses to burn at 4x. So, I need another drive that would do the job.

Thanks in advance.

Have you installed the latest firmware? 2.0F?

Yep, installed the 2.0f update. Used nero, stomp, and dvd decyrypter. Made it master on secondary EIDE. All failed to burn dvd-r mentioned at 4x.

I've come to the conclusion that my sony drive is just fussy about media. I burned TDK dvd+r fine at 4x.

Thanks to you guys that replied. The TDK does seems nice.
