where from?

a friend of mine managed to get those drives for $112, but it involved a couple coupons and rebates... still, at that price, it's a hell of a deal.

hehe. really?

i thought you had bought it from some el salvador nun who's selling hard drives in benefit of the starving kids! :)

i meant, "what store"? i'm not american, and i dunno fry's... do they have a website? are they trustworthy?

i always buy my hardware from newegg, cause i've had some bad experiences with some dealers before and newegg is always flawless...

damn, seems to me it's mr. smartass day, and nobody bothered to tell me..

assuming everyone on earth is a total moron is not a very good thing to do.. it's not very courteous, either.

i had googled it up. but i had used search queries "fry hardware", and "www.fryhardware.com" happens to exist. and that's what caused my confusion. and that's why i asked in here for the store's address.

ok?

Sorry if you got offended, didn't mean to.

Asking about Fry's here is kind of like asking what is a McDonald's... We just assume everyone knows what it is...

Not everyone here knows what Fry's is...I've heard it mentioned here before, but that's it. I'm guessing it's a Best-Buy like store? Doesn't matter, there isn't one anywhere near me...but newegg is close!

chey out www.frys.com

They are a much loved and also hated electronic store, for starting some of the things that we so hate today, like having your receipt checked at the door. Fry's did that long before anyone else.

Fry's got a huge selection of products and their prices are often unbeatable as well, but you have to live near one to take advantage.

It's like a cany store for adults. I'm glad I don't live near one.

Fry's is as big as a store gets - you can put B.Buy, CompUSA & C.City store all together to fit inside a Fry's store, and you'd still have some space left inside to play some basketball !

So, in other words, a Fry's store should have its own ZIP code? :)
