BEST OF LUCK! I know the kind of crap we sometimes write in our papers!
What are you doing in calc? Partial differentiation, higher order integrals and stuff?

this is a first-year course.
sequences, series, functions, limits, continuity, differentiation, integrals, double integrals, triple integrals, Green's theorem, Stoke's theorem, Gauss' theorem, blah!
no differential equations of the like.

yes, it is dissapointing for me to read some of the crap the students put into the exams. :( oh well
however they're better than my usual audience. up to this year i've been teaching studnets of econimics/business etc. they're worse... :o

if you're talking about Craig Campbell, try looking in CDRInfo. he's there much more than here... :( :x

Craig spends some time here as well.

Methinks "Special Project Nero Recode" = bug... could have something to do with an activation scheme, especially given the proliferation of Nero 6 ISOs on the file sharing networks.

Activation scheme in one week? Highly "unpossible" I think, taz. Are they good enough to implement one in 7 days?

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not dropping in sooner, but I have been on the road, again. And I do try and visit all the forums. It may seem I visit others more only because they may need more help than others. I find this forum has a number of very knowledgeable participants, and my input is rarely needed. Someone is always beeting me to the punch.

As for the delay in posting this on our website, I must apologize. :(

The main reason for the delay, simply put, is our website was not ready. We've put a lot of effort in trying to make the 18th deadline, but even working overtime on the new Web site did not bring this about. So we have had to push the release date back. The benifit of this is that we can add some new features, and improve on those we already have in this time. Though we wish we could have provided it on the 18th as promised.

As for the Retails stores, yes some were selling the Nero 6 product prior to July 18th, but not with our blessing.

Regards,

Craig

Craig,

I saw somewhere that Ahead was also adding things like "smart encoding, slide show transitions, DVD 9-5 transcoding" for the new release date. Anything you can share on this?

Also, will the people who bought Nero 6 retail be able to update to the new version with these new features?

Craig. Any plans to have a retail presence in India? Here, Nero is only available bundled with drives.

Hi Ian,

Yes, we will be including 'Smart Encoding', Transitions for Slide shows and a few other new features for slide shows, as well as DVD 9 to DVD 5 support in our future upgrades of Nero 6. The first two will be included in the version we post on our website on the 25th. DVD 9 to DVD 5 may make this timeline, but it may not. In which case it will be in a future upgrade, possibly towards the end of August.

And yes, everyone who purchase Nero 6 will get these upgrades for free. :)

As for a Retail presence in India, I personally do not know. You can check with our sales team by sending them an Email at sales@nero.com.

Regards,

Craig
