Liteon 52/32/52 and burning media at 52x

Postby Xator on Thu Jul 31, 2003 1:32 am

Does their new drive consistently burn 52x discs at 52x? I know the Plextor Premium drive I have might say its a 52x drive, but I usually burn at 32x or 40x half the time. Doesn't really matter what type of discs I use.

The drive has some of the best media compatibility I've seen so far. You won't have problems finding media that will work at 52x.

On the flipside of it, i've read of some peaple who weren't so happy with the drives quality control (quality burns).

With firmware QS09, my 7S is meeting or beating my 6S, (lower error rates), at higher burn speeds.

Would you be kind enough to upload some snapshots of K-probe scans?
