KProbe is good for checking the quality of any CD if you have a Lite-On drive. I use KProbe with my Lite-On drives. What brand and model is your drive?

If you search here at CDRLabs, there is a large amount of information about KProbe.

Well, you used to be able to get KProbe here, but it seems to have changed.

KProbe won't help much, though, because it works only with Lite-On drives.

Plextor does supply a utility with a similar functionality (I forget what it's called) with some Plextor drives; which Plextor do you have?

Then your only real option for checking physical burn quality is CD Speed with its scan disc and CD quality tests. It comes with Nero, or you can get it here for free.

To verify that your files are not corrupted, you can try CDCheck, also free for personal use at home.
