That just means you haven't burned them yet

Blank media is always read at a max of 12x... I don't know why though.

Not wishing to burst anyones bubble here (but I will anyway)...

Doesn't Verbatim have a history of having different products on each side of the Atlantic Ocean?

THIS PRESS RELEASE COMES TO MIND.

700mb 24x RW discs. I've never seen them in either the USA or Canada.
But they seem to be available in Europe.

24x 650mb discs came out about a year ago, and you still can't buy them in Canada.

Basically, don't get your hopes up if you reside in North America.

Verbatim 24x definitely available in Europe

Postby XIII on Tue Sep 02, 2003 12:10 pm

Spazmogen, these are exactly the discs I bought (here in the Netherlands) last week to replace the crap Memorex 24x discs. I could buy both 650MB and 700MB discs. Difference in price was 10 eurocents.

BTW. Does anybody know whether these are available in 5-packs?

I could only buy them for 2.49 euro per single disc or 19 euro for a 10-pack.
