Postby Turkeyscore.com on Tue Sep 16, 2003 10:32 pm

Finally dropped in price, I bought if from newegg (oem) for $35. Of course I was waiting that long for it to drop in price, gave up and bought it...then it soon dropped in price...
oh well, good game, lots of mods (desert combat, modern weapons is a favorite of mine)...
They also have the new Secret Weapons Expansion pack for $20. (it is $30 at Electronics Botique.)
I saw this in the Sunday flyer and am not sure if it's available anymore...

They had 3 copies at my CrapUSA on Sunday. I grabbed a copy. I too have been waiting for it to drop in price.

CrapUSA - LOL.

Is this a PC based game? What's so great about it?

Yeah, its a PC game. It's a WWII based multiplayer FPS. The cool thing is you can jump into vehicles like tanks, planes, etc.

Battlefield has all kinds of expansion mods (Downloadable modifications)

Pirates mod, old pirate ships, swords, muskets etc.
Turbo Mod, everything has turbo boosters...
Galactic Conquest Mod...Star Wars style weapons and vehicles
Interstate 82 mod...sports cars with weapons.

The Original...driveable tanks, fighters, bombers, ships, jeeps, and more.

Desert combat mod rules....
Apaches, Hinds, Blackhawks, f16s, f15s, f14, c130 gunships, mirage fighters, mig 29, Su25, a10, humvee, amphibious vehicles, stinger missile launchers, SCUDs, guided missiles, many modern tanks, and lots of other modern goodies, the game doesnt get boring fast. fun at LAN Parties, Online, and Singleplayer.

Graphics are great also. (I would recommend at least a 700 MHZ computer with a 32 mb video card and 512 MB ram...) (I have a 1 GHZ, 512 RAM, 64 MB TI4200, windows xp)
