Having been offline for a while, I had a look at the forum with "unbiased eyes" and found some marked patterns in the contributions.

Here are some "typical" posts from various forum dwellers (nonrepresentative sample):

These are my personal observations. Additions and/or corrections are probably not avoidable.

Odd, this is what I see when I read some of those people posting:

Ian: "OMG I wish they would make a Culture Club Kharma Chameleon Transformer/Star Wars crossover toy."

Aviationwiz: "Hey, would you guys mind answering a useless question?"

MonteLDS: "blah blah blah [random english word] blah."

I'm not saying that's what they write, I'm saying that's what I see when I read it.

That would be crazy if Culture Club did.

I'm not trying to hurt feelings or piss people off. I'm just stating my opinion.

I'm not sure why, but when I read this originally I thought it said, "OMG I wish they would make a Culture Club Kharma Chameleon Transformer/Star Wars crossdresser toy."

You know, Culture Club...Boy George...dressing like a woman. Yeah, soooooooooooooooooo...
No, I like women.

How am I a troll? I post my opinion and sometimes joke around. None of this is trolling. I think you just want me to be a troll.

I love it! That was because of the packaging, though. The disks themselves were horrible (turned out to be 2 different lots).

No- not that bad. There were 2 groups of serial numbers. The "A" group was OK, the "B" group was rotten. The details are in the media compatibility thread

but they were all CMC, and externally looking the same (except for the serial number A/B difference), right?
that is insidious! :x  :o

I think it's quite normal to have media from more than one stamper in a package- pretty well all packages I've checked (not just CMCs) have samples from more than one stamper. The problem is really one of quality assurance- here one series was OK and those from a neighbouring stamper were wretched . The serial numbers were extremely similar, indicating that the media were manufactured at essentially the same time.

But this isn't really the place to discuss such serious matters.
